I have a Dell Vostro 1500 also. Have You ever tested your machine on pcpitstop.com? I was dissapointed in the memory and video performance, so much so the machine is back at Dell for fixing. Mine tested at 3700 on memory and 42 on 2d video. My old Dell (three years old) tested 4700 on memory and 99 on video.

I didn’t knew u too had a Dell Vostro . I have a 1400 but. The only bad thing is the True lIfe monitor which is too shiny and is very dust prone.
