Its a definite plus point compared to mundane, stereotypically academic CVs. Extra curriculars a huge plus point and project a well-rounded character of a candidate. When I went for My interview with accenture, I mentioned Hacking as my hobby and guess what , I got all the attention from recruiter and by the end I had a job letter with me. The point here is when any one go for Interview he should present something which is unique, though blogging is not unique but still mane people ignore it.
