			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" title="TubeChop" src="http://techkeyla.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/tubechop.jpg" alt="TubeChop" width="182" height="92" /></p>
<p>We all love to share YouTube videos don&#8217;t we. Especially with the ever growing number of excellent videos on the world&#8217;s biggest video database, we always find something or the other which we would rate as amusing or simply a must-watch. But for some impatient ones like me, we always tend to be really excited about the stuff we share. And we want to share a specific portion of a YouTube video. We often even use YouTube videos for referencing &#8211; like a particular portion from a video would help an opinion etc etc. You get it. But how do we achieve it. Well, the usual drill was to mention, please refer the video from 2 mins and 40 seconds onwards blah blah! But not anymore. Techkeyla is here to the rescue. Enter &#8211; TubeChop. Not only can you edit YouTube videos, but also share it, embed it, and prove your awesomeness.</p>
<p>So how do you actually do it?</p>
<p>Glad you asked. Just go to TubeChop. The text bar on the site, asks for the YouTube video URL. Just paste your desired URL . For our tutorial, we are using this supercute LOLcat video. Once you paste and hit enter, it will ask you to select the start and end points of the video.</p>
<p>Just drag and seek the start and end position bars as required. Easy peasy!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" title="TubeChop tutorial - Editing LOLCAT video" src="http://techkeyla.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/tubechop-tutorial.jpg" alt="TubeChop tutorial - Editing LOLCAT video" width="400" height="342" /></p>
<p>Once done, hit the Chop It button.  The next page gives you the link, as well as the Embed Code. Howzzat!<br />
The only weakness of this tool is that it does not work with videos which have disabled embedding.</p>
<p>And because you have been so attentive, you get to see this really cute and home-edited version of LOLCATS. Enjoy and happy edited sharing. Cheerio!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center; "><img class="aligncenter" title="YouTube heart HD" src="http://s5.tinypic.com/incrdh.jpg" alt="YouTube Loves HD" width="450" height="120" /></p>
<p>I know, I have done a lot of posts on YouTube video Downloads so far. Javascripts, and old favorites like <a href="http://keepvid.com">Keepvid</a>. But this new tool is fast becoming my favorite. I don&#8217;t feel the need to go back to Keepvid anymore. Because <strong><a href="http://keephd.com" target="_blank">KeepHD</a></strong> is the one stop shop which fulfills all my YouTube needs. </p>
<p>a) It supports HD video download as well. Yes, just copy the URL and paste it in the address bar on the KeepHD page. And voila!! Your video can be downloaded in FLV Low Quality, 3GP Mobile video, MP4 High quality or HD.</p>
<p>b) Second best thing, the address bar gets auto-deleted when you click on it. So, once you are done downloading your previous video and before pasting the next URL, there is no need to select the previous URL and delete it. So you have two steps of redundant work eliminated. Also, to download a YouTube video whose URL is say: http://www.youtube.com/<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">watch?v=</span></strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">CXENO12nw28</span></strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span> (Hary Hill&#8217;s TV Burp), you can just paste the highlighted portion after keephd.com. So this would look like http://keephd.com/watch?v=CXENO12nw28, and the download options page would be displayed.</p>
<p>c) Best feature as yet, you can download videos which are not available in your region. You do get frustrated when you can&#8217;t view certain videos on YouTube due to area restrictions. Just download them via KeepHD and view them offline. And especially with the new TV Shows and Movies added on YouTube, KeepHD will surely become one of the favorite internet services available. Happy Downloading!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yes, this is just a Time-Waster for all who just have way too much time to watch videos in a vertically flipped window. Yeah true, that sometimes you would like to see the videos from a Danny Boyle-esque perspective and you want to flip your cameras. But for the time being, flipping of YouTube videos would have to be your solace. To do this, just add the code:<strong>&amp;flip=1</strong> after the video url, and voila, your entire Youtube window gets upside down, even to the text level. Have a look at the screen below.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://i44.tinypic.com/1585out.jpg" alt="YouTube Flip" width="462" height="400" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The above video is a Jimmy Kimmel Live show video courtesy:<a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/JimmyKimmelLive" target="_blank"> JimmyKimmelLive </a> The url to this video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebQs1AxCkQo, and when it is changed to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebQs1AxCkQo<strong>&amp;flip=1</strong> ,  the above flipped version is shown. The position of the comments do not change; they are below the video, but the tabs for the share, playlist, flag etc are shown on the botton border of the video. Nice fun to surprise your friends. Cheers!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">This might seem as a repost of my previous articles on HD videos [<a href="http://www.techkeyla.com/search-for-hd-videos-on-youtube/" target="_blank">article1</a>, <a href="http://www.techkeyla.com/how-to-watch-and-download-youtube-videos-in-hd/" target="_blank">article2,</a> <a href="http://www.techkeyla.com/youtube-hd-for-dummies-search-watch-download/" target="_blank">article3</a> and <a href="http://www.techkeyla.com/how-to-watch-and-download-hq-videos-on-youtube/" target="_blank">article4</a> ], but there have been some changes made to HD as well as HQ videos on YouTube. So this updated article was necessary.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://s5.tinypic.com/incrdh.jpg" alt="YouTube HD" width="450" height="120" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We all have been absolutely enjoying at the HD resolution videos on YouTube. At 1280X720 resolution, these videos have better picture quality than DVD. ( Of course, not all videos uploaded on YouTube who claim as HD are truly HD. Some of them are upscaled versions &#8211;which means their resolution has been increased, but that means, it would be similar to a video of lesser resolution being viewed in full screen. )Anyway, recently YouTube updated its pages, and now HD as well as HQ videos are embeddable, and hence viewers can view HD as well as HQ videos on any website/blog where YouTube videos are embedded. But this means, that the previous search keyword to find YouTube HD and HQ videos ( see article: where the search keyword in Google is site:youtube.com “watch in normal quality watch in hd”, it would no longer show all the HD videos, but would only show those videos which has &#8220;watch in HD&#8221; in the title.)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So searching for HD videos on YouTube has now to be done with traditional search methods using keywords like HD music, HD trailers, 720p music etc. </p>
<h2>_Downloading HD Videos from YouTube</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fortunately the Javascript Link still works. I am reposting it here. <span id="more-150"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As I said earlier, sites like ClipNabber, or KeepVid can only grab links of the low-Q flv and the High-Q mp4 files but not the HD versions of the videos. To download the HD files, this one has proved to be 100% successful for me. It is not any website or a software that you need to download. It is just a userscript, which you need to add as a Bookmark/ Favorite. The Link is given below.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="YouTube HD Download" href="javascript:if%20(document.getElementById('download-youtube-video')==null%20&amp;&amp;%20!!(document.location.href.match(/http:\/\/[a-zA-Z\.]*youtube\.com\/watch/)))%20{var%20yt_mp4_path='http://www.youtube.com/get_video?fmt=22&amp;video_id='+swfArgs['video_id']+'&amp;t='+swfArgs['t'];%20var%20div_embed=document.getElementById('watch-embed-div');div_embed.innerHTML=div_embed.innerHTML+'&lt;br%20&gt;&lt;/a&gt;%20&lt;span%20id=\'download-youtube-video\'&gt;&lt;a%20href=\''+yt_mp4_path+'\'&gt;Download%20as%20MP4&lt;/a&gt;%20(right-click%20and%20select%20&lt;i&gt;Save%20'+%20(navigator.appName=='Microsoft%20Internet%20Explorer'?'target':'link')%20+'%20as&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;/span&gt;';}void(0);" target="_blank"><strong>YouTube HD Download</strong></a></p>

<p><strong>What do you need to do with it?</strong><br />
a. For Internet Explorer: Just right click on the Link above , and choose to “Add to Favorites”. For convenience, you can add this to the Links, so that this bookmarklet shows on your Links Toolbar.<br />
It will prompt you that the bookmark might be unsafe. Just say yes, coz it is absolutely safe.<br />
b. For Chrome/ Safari: You cannot right click and add this to your bookmarks. Hence, you have to hold and drag this link to the bookmark toolbar.<br />
c. For Firefox / Flock et al: Right click and choose to Bookmark this Link.</p>

Really? Yes! This could be handy when you make some silly mistakes in email and you discover them immediately, but won&#8217;t serve you for mails which are long gone. It won&#8217;t help you to undo the harm of sending the longest hate mail that you sent last week, and now you don&#8217;t want to be held responsible of calling your friend a  #$%^&amp;@. Undo send is a new GMail Labs addon which on activation, will show a link of Undo till 5 seconds of sending an email. So, a window of 5 seconds is given for you to get back the shot arrow. Not bad eh! And as Michael Legett says in the <a href="http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/new-in-labs-undo-send.html" target="_blank">GMail Blog Post</a>, if the browser crashes or is closed within those 5 seconds, the mail will be still sent. </p>
<p>More new news, is that GMail now has enabled YouTube, FLickr, Picasa and Yelp preview within mail. Before it was Youtube windows which was enabled in GMail chat. And now, we can preview all these links from a Flickr or a Picasa Gallery to Youtube videos, right in your inbox. No need to go elsewhere. So share your links more and more. Right into GMail chat, if someone pastes in a YouTube Link (which we often do), you&#8217;d be able to play the video link, right then and there- No opening of new tabs or windows. <a title="GMail" href="http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/watch-videos-right-in-gmail-chat.html" target="_blank">GMail Blog</a> says that it is just because they want the friends of the GMail users to remain on the same page while they chat and not leave their friends waiting for ages to respond to the chats. </p>
<p> The folks at Google have been really trying to enhance the user experience. What more do we need from Instant Messaging? We got new emoticons, Video Chat inside GMail, and now it&#8217;s YouTube.</p>
<p>And oh yeah..only Google Videos and YouTube. And this feature doesn&#8217;t work on the Client, but only from within GMail. This makes me think if Google is closing down GTalk as a whole. Any predictions on the next step of integration in Google? How about some mail integration with YouTube videos? i.e. if someone sent a YouTube video link in GMail, you could be able to stream it from your inbox itself. Just a though! Cheers to Google.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>All about How to Watch YouTube in HD, Search for HD content on YouTube, and How to Download them</h3>
<p>I have been receiving quite a number of emails complaining that my previous post on Youtube HD has been hard to follow. I have also received other emails congratulating me that the hack, google search code as well the downloading script worked perfectly. Just for the benefit of the people who did not get it, I am reposting it, in a simple plain layman language, so that everyone can enjoy Youtube in its full HD beauty. So here it goes.<br />
First things first, only a few of the zillions of videos on YouTube have HD enabled in them. This solely depends on the quality of the original video that has been uploaded. If the original video being uploaded is a 1080p or a 720p video (from a Blu-Ray or an HD TV rip, in simple terms a video with a large resolution), only then we could see the HD option for that video. e.g. The KungFu Panda OST- Kungfu Fighting. It is available in 3 options.<br />
<strong>Option 1:</strong> The Low-Quality flv version which is suitable for viewing in low bandwidth internet. The buffering of this video would be much faster but the video quality is the most inferior. This is in most cases the default video quality for all Youtube videos.</p>
<p><strong>Option 2:</strong> The High Quality mp4 version which is suitable for viewing in high bandwidth internet. The quality is much better than flv. It is available for most videos on Youtube which have been uploaded recently. You can make buffering Higher Quality versions of the Video as default, by changing the Playback Settings in your YouTube account. Just follow the steps below.<br />
Go to your YouTube account page. On the left hand side of the page, click on a link called <strong>Playback Setup</strong>. Now, you will get 3 options to choose from- low quality for slow connections, high quality for faster connections, or let YouTube choose dynamically depending on runtime connection speed.<br />
Alternatively, even for videos which do not have High-Q viewing enabled, a better picture and sound quality version (not necessarily better resolution) is available if the video URL is tweaked.<br />
e.g. If the Kungfu Panda OST URL is :<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;">http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3aTU-IJ8c4</span>,<br />
just append it with &amp;fmt=18, to look like<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"> http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3aTU-IJ8c4&amp;fmt=18</span><br />
This would make it stream the High-Q version.</p>
<p><strong>Option 3:</strong> HD version. Like I said, HD is only available for a few videos, but the number is expected to increase as we see more HD content being uploaded. All the videos available for HD can be viewed in HD by clicking on the &#8220;watch in HD&#8221; link below the video. The mentioned Kungfu Panda OST -Kungfu Fighting has the link as well.<br />
Alternatively, HD versions can be viewed directly by appending &amp;fmt=22 in the video URL.<br />
So if the original URL is :<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"> http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3aTU-IJ8c4</span>,<br />
then the HD version would be<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"> http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3aTU-IJ8c4&amp;fmt=22</span></p>
<p>How to Search for HD content on YouTube and Download HD videos after the jump.<br />
<span id="more-131"></span></p>
<h3>Search for HD content on YouTube</h3>
<p><strong>1.</strong> On Google: Type the following including the quotes in the Google Search Bar.<br />
<strong>site:youtube.com “watch in normal quality watch in hd”</strong><br />
Depends on how much you do believe that Google can crawl on all the HD video pages. Because, all the pages on which HD is enabled, have &#8220;watch in HD&#8221; and &#8220;watch in normal quality&#8221; under the video link. So perfectly makes sense. To test, I ran the google search, and discovered a video which would all of you go berserk. Yes, it is the 720p High-Def rip of the chase scene from the movie Dark Knight. You have to see it to believe it. Here is the link ( <a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=PyDL0P-Pnio&amp;fmt=22">YouTube HD</a> ) Uploaded by some user called &#8220;suckonthiswarnorbros&#8221;. Donno what that means!!</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong>On YouTube: You can search for HD videos on YouTube by searching with keywords like:<br />
HD, 720p, 1080p etc.</p>
<h3>How to Download YouTube videos in HD</h3>
<p>As I said earlier, sites like ClipNabber, or KeepVid can only grab links of the low-Q flv and the High-Q mp4 files but not the HD versions of the videos. To download the HD files, this one has proved to be 100% successful for me. It is not any website or a software that you need to download. It is just a userscript, which you need to add as a Bookmark/ Favorite. The Link is given below.</p>
<p><strong><a title="YouTube HD Download" href="javascript:if%20(document.getElementById('download-youtube-video')==null%20&amp;&amp;%20!!(document.location.href.match(/http:\/\/[a-zA-Z\.]*youtube\.com\/watch/)))%20{var%20yt_mp4_path='http://www.youtube.com/get_video?fmt=22&amp;video_id='+swfArgs['video_id']+'&amp;t='+swfArgs['t'];%20var%20div_embed=document.getElementById('watch-embed-div');div_embed.innerHTML=div_embed.innerHTML+'&lt;br%20&gt;&lt;/a&gt;%20&lt;span%20id=\'download-youtube-video\'&gt;&lt;a%20href=\''+yt_mp4_path+'\'&gt;Download%20as%20MP4&lt;/a&gt;%20(right-click%20and%20select%20&lt;i&gt;Save%20'+%20(navigator.appName=='Microsoft%20Internet%20Explorer'?'target':'link')%20+'%20as&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;/span&gt;';}void(0);" target="_blank">YouTube HD Download</a></strong></p>
<p><strong>What do you need to do with it?</strong><br />
a. For Internet Explorer: Just right click on the Link above , and choose to &#8220;Add to Favorites&#8221;.
<p>What next? When you are viewing an HD video on YouTube, just click on this link. You will see a new link appear right below the Embed address bar on the right side. as shown in the picture below. Right click- Save as.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3105/3117083110_09bef35e3a_o.png" alt="" /></p>
<p>Voila!! Done. Hope you liked this tutorial. If you found any part of this tutorial to be hard to follow, or objectionable or have any doubts or queries, please leave the comments, and I shall get back to you. Until next time, cheers!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>YouTube has enabled HD videos viewing now, in pure 960p beauty. As opposed to the normal 4:3 ratio, the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio has been adapted, and the Videos have started to roll out. Initially, as written in my <a href="http://www.techkeyla.com/how-to-watch-and-download-youtube-videos-in-hd/" target="_blank">previous post</a> , only a few videos were being enabled for testing. But the numbers have started to increase. But you would surely want to experiment various videos which have HD enabled and experience YouTube in all its maximum capacity. Here&#8217;s how to search for the HD videos available on Google.<span id="more-129"></span></p>
<p>The Google Hack code for this is:- <strong><em>site:youtube.com &#8220;watch in normal quality watch in hd&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>Just type the above text in the Google Search Bar and you will be able to see all the videos that are available to be watched in HD. Not surprising though, that the first video that appears in the search results is &#8220;Where the Hell is Matt&#8221; which Youtube had used to experiment its rolling out of the HD viewing. There are loads of other HD videos available and you would be pleasantly surprised at the superior quality of these videos. </p>
<p>The only downside is that an obvious requirement of a high speed internet bandwidth. But once that is satisfied, this one is definitely going to be quite awesome. Check out some of my favourite videos in Full HD.</p>
<p><a title="KungFu Panda" href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3aTU-IJ8c4&amp;fmt=22" target="_blank">KungFu Panda OST &#8211; Kungfu Fighting</a></p>

<p><a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=M_qfvbnrKrk" target="_blank">Twilight Trailer HD (COMPLETE!)</a></p>
<p><a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NlKyAV5_V6E&amp;fmt=22" target="_blank">Blackened Spirits Drummer &#8211; Faint (Linkin Park Cover)</a></p>
<p><a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=goR8jNOKtr0&amp;fmt=22" target="_blank">Acoustic Cover-(Seal) Kiss from a rose</a></p>
